antonio lopez a bitto bistroBitto is proud to welcome another Colorado original singer songwriter, Antonio Lopez. We love how his music feels warm and familiar while also being unique and transcending the standard folk/rock genre. Strong melodies with the welcome ability to bring a balance of tone and substance to every song. Come on out and listen for yourself.

With influences as vast and wide as the San Luis Valley from where he originates, fifth generation Coloradan Antonio Lopez is a noteworthy artist in the states flourishing music community. Nashville based recording artist Tyler James describes Antonio’s music as “raw and beautiful…two traits any young songwriter should strive for."  Garnering comparison to artists such as Amos Lee and Ryan Adams with his earthy-modern-folk, Antonio's latest project consists of three EP's, each being recorded in a different locale with a different producer and set of musicians; Alamosa, CO where he grew up, Minneapolis, MN where he recorded his debut album, and on the Front Range where he now resides.  The second installment in the series, Cloud 9000 Vol. 2: The Alamosa EP, is slated to be released on February 23rd, 2016.  Antonio Lopez's tune Simple Life is the theme song for the Morning show on KRZA radio and he has collaborated with artists such as folk luminaries Don Conoscenti and Daniel Valdez (Santana, Linda Ronstadt).

"Ready to waft from the windows of pick-up trucks in the sunshine."
The Marquee Magazine

"Antonio Lopez's swelling and melodic tunes are hard to not bob your head to, and his words are ones you’ll want to hear again and again. Both will make you feel on their own... but put together you’ll find that Antonio’s songs have a whole greater than the sum of the parts. And the parts are really good."
     Connor Magyar, Longmont Compass

“Cloud 9000 is a song that you would listen to on a Sunday morning drive through Sunshine Canyon, or at dusk on a summer night cracking beers with friends around a campfire."
     Hannah Oreskovich,  Bolderbeat

“Really Beautiful, emotive and fun music. Great job. Several tracks really standout, but the whole thing is great, start to finish.”
Chicago Mike Beck, CEO of Access FIlm Music

"“A Simple Life” is acoustic and Dylanesque, with an upbeat tempo and soaring vocals. “Too Old to be a Childhood Prodigy” is a whimsical, folksy song with strong harmonies and a catchy melody."
     Pablo Mora,  The Pueblo Chieftain

    Maimai Syrah

So pretty. Brings a clear nose of Gimblett Gravels terroir beneath lush soft blue and black fruit with lovely violet and lavender notes. Palate is clean, balanced and very approachable.
